Slimming Belt

Today, advertising of various devices for "passive" weight loss is literally taking the air by storm. Therefore, it is not surprising that many people are in a hurry to make a wonderful purchase. And how could it be otherwise: you don't need to exercise, you also exhaust with diets. You put on a miracle belt and lose weight! Many people think of how to lose weight correctly, but how easy it is to lose weight! However, are the various sauna belts, vibro belts and the like that effective? Doctors and fitness instructors view these devices with much less optimism than their distributors.

What is a slimming belt?

All existing slimming belts can be divided into two large groups:

  • Sauna belts.
  • Massage belts.

There are also belts that combine the characteristics of sauna belts and massage belts. What are these belts?

Sauna effect belts. These devices increase body temperature in areas of the body below the belt. In other words, sauna belts affect the tummy. Manufacturers claim that the sauna effect contributes to the process of active lipid degradation. Along the way, with the sweat, toxins and excess fluid leave the tissues. As a result, there is a decrease in the volume of the problem area.

In fact, one should not expect the striking effect of such a belt. The subcutaneous tissue is not able to warm up with local exposure. If this were possible, the homeostasis of the body would be disturbed. In reality, only the skin heats up, and this does not lead to the breakdown of fat.

Also, remember that fat does not melt during normal heating. Deposits can only be broken down by acting on them with enzymes and chemical impulses. This effect occurs when the body receives fewer calories than it consumes. This means that you can of course wear a belt, but only while dieting. Otherwise, you won't find an hourglass figure!

Some belts even have extra heat or annoying soak (like pepper). They heat the tissues more and, as a result, the sweating is more active. Due to the dehydration of the tissues, the volumes actually decrease, but the fat remains in its place. Drink a glass of water and the sauna effect wears off!

Sauna-effect belts are inexpensive, but they are best bought at drugstores or sports stores. By the way, replacing such a belt with ordinary stretch film or mustard plasters, you will not lose anything.

Massage belts. These are electrical devices that act on the body with magnetic or electrical impulses, as well as vibrations. Manufacturers claim that the fat under this influence turns into a substance that is much easier to break down.

Unfortunately, vibration also has little effect on fat. We are exposed to vibrations on a daily basis: a journey in the car or on the subway can also shake off body fat. Belts that create a magnetic field shouldn't be seen as a miracle weight loss tool either. Especially when you consider the fact that doctors do not approve of this way of losing weight, ensuring that the consequences can be very serious for your health.

Vibrobelt is categorically contraindicated for hypertensive patients, pregnant women, as well as heart disease and nursing mothers. Therefore, if you want to know how to lose weight after childbirth, you have to forget about the vibrobelt. With the fragility of blood vessels and after operations on the abdomen, it is also impossible to use such devices.

Sauna belts should not be used by people with sensitive skin or skin problems. People with allergies should avoid using belts with various irritating impregnations.

No matter how tempting the announcement may be, remember that diet and exercise are still the most effective ways to lose weight. And you are unlikely to be able to lose weight lying on the couch in a miracle belt.
